About This Tool
Convert Everything is a file conversion and compression tool that runs entirely in your browser. You select a file, choose a target format or compression option, and the conversion happens locally on your device. The file never touches a server.
Supported formats and operations
The site currently offers 33 online tools across six categories:
- Images:Convert between JPG / PNG / WebP / AVIF / BMP / GIF, plus compress, resize, crop, rotate, watermark and image-to-PDF.
- PDF:Merge, split, compress, encrypt and decrypt, delete and rotate pages, repair damaged PDFs, PDF to images, images to PDF, extract text.
- Documents:Word (docx) to PDF, with layout and Chinese text preserved.
- Audio:Convert between 12 formats — MP3 / WAV / FLAC / M4A / OGG / Opus / AIFF / CAF / WMA / MP2 / VOC / AC3 — with adjustable bitrate, plus trim audio by time range.
- Video:Transcode MP4 / WebM / MOV / AVI / MKV (to MP4 or WebM), compress, trim, rotate, convert video to GIF, and extract audio from video.
- Data:Convert between Excel and CSV, CSV and JSON, and CSV and YAML; multi-sheet Excel files are packed automatically.
Not every format combination is available — the UI shows which conversions are currently supported for the file type you selected.
How local processing works
The conversion engine is a WebAssembly module (built from C/C++ codecs) that runs inside a Web Worker in your browser. Your file is read into memory, processed by the engine, and the output is offered as a download. At no point is the file sent over the network to a server.
This means: (1) your file is never stored on any server, (2) it cannot be intercepted in transit because it is not transmitted, and (3) once the page has loaded, the engine is cached by your browser, so the tools keep working even on a slow connection.
Privacy
Because the file stays on your device, the privacy model is straightforward: the server never sees your file. The only network requests the page makes are for loading the WebAssembly modules themselves (one-time downloads cached by your browser) and a site visit-tracking script (wtd.dailywise.top/script.js, which records anonymous visits only and is unrelated to your files). No file content, filename, or file size is sent to any system.
Honest limitations
- Single-file limits range from 50 to 500 MB depending on the category (images 50 MB, PDF 100 MB, audio 200 MB, video 500 MB, data 500 MB). Very large files near the limit may exceed your browser's available memory, especially on mobile devices.
- Audio and video transcoding in the browser is slower than desktop software — WebAssembly is not native performance. Small-to-medium files usually take tens of seconds to a few minutes, with a live progress bar.
- Quality loss in lossy conversions (e.g. PNG to JPG, video compression) is inherent to the format, not a bug.
- Most tools process one file at a time; PDF merge and image-to-PDF accept multiple files.
